Sabre set to launch key road show in Bahrain

MANAMA, February 10, 2015

Bahrain-based Sabre Travel Network Middle East (STNME), a technology provider to the travel and tourism industry, is launching the "2015 Innovation Product Road Show" in the kingdom.

A key highlight of the road show will be Sabre's Red App Centre, which the company says is the world's first B2B online travel app marketplace that connects travel buyers, including agencies, management companies and leisure operators with third party developers, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Since its global launch in 2012, Sabre Red App Centre has exceeded 1.2 million downloads by travel agencies worldwide, the company said.

The platform allows developers and agencies to build apps, tools and solutions that extend the capabilities and customise the Sabre Red Workspace, used by agencies to shop, book and manage travel.

Calling all developers and agencies in the Middle East to "take a look and get involved", STNME chief executive Daniel Naoumovitch said it is an important platform to feature and enable innovation in travel and tourism.

He said the company continues to invest in training and product road shows to help customers stay up to date on latest technology innovations and market trends.

STNME operates 23 offices in 13 countries in the Middle East and the Levant. - TradeArabia News Service
