Al Bustan Centre and Residence (ABCR), a popular hotel-apartment in Dubai, UAE, has promoted two executives to the senior management team.

Yasser Moussa has been promoted to executive assistant manager – sales and business development

With 17 years’ experience on hand, Moussa will be a key member of the management team and will continue to oversee the operation and execute the hotel’s revenue targets and strategic goals. He will lead the sales and marketing, business development and revenue departments, and all revenue-generated components of the hotel.

Liza Ortiz, who has been promoted to director of human resources, will have the primary responsibility in planning, developing and evaluating human resource-related initiatives that support hotel strategic goals.

In addition, she will continue to supervise staff and report to the chief operating officer on issues related to the implementation of policies and procedures, recruiting and hiring high-performing employees, performance management, leaning and development and talent assessment, including negotiating and administering labour agreements.
