Bahrain hotel evacuated as fire rips through

MANAMA, July 19, 2015

A hotel in Manama was evacuated last night (July 18) as fire ripped through one of its floors, a report said.

No injuries were reported but four vehicles were damaged when pieces of concrete from the sixth floor balcony of the Al Jazira Hotel fell on top of them, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

It happened at around 7pm and firemen evacuated the building.

“Civil Defence evacuated a building in Manama and secured the area as a precaution after cement pieces fell from the front of the building,” said the Interior Ministry.

“A number of cars parked in front of the building were damaged.” – TradeArabia News Service
