Gulf Air, Batelco to enhance on-board operations

MANAMA, September 7, 2015

Batelco, Bahrain’s leading communications solution provider, has partnered with national carrier Gulf Air to support the airline’s on-board operations by providing iPads for the airline’s cabin service managers to streamline their on-board processes.

The partnership deal, which was signed during a meeting at Batelco’s Hamala Headquarters recently, will benefit crew members, who will be provided with the latest iPad technology with access to Batelco’s 4G data network and tailor-made packages for the airline.

The provision of the latest technology and devices is in line with Batelco’s strategy to become a leading digital services provider and player in the region.

Speaking on the occasion, Batelco’s acting in charge of the Enterprise Division Donya Al Ansari said: “Batelco is very pleased to sign this agreement with Gulf Air and support their efforts in providing top quality devices and technology to assist their crew members in their working roles. Batelco values its partners and assures them the availability of tailor-made packages and customised support. We are delighted to support Gulf Air with their digitisation efforts, and plan to extend this support further to benefit Bahrain.”
