InterContinental Doha plans property expansion

DOHA, November 19, 2015

InterContinental Doha Hotel, a leading hotel in the Qatari capital, has unveiled plans to expand its property.

InterContinental Doha will be adding to its existing facilities an executive wing of 120 luxurious rooms and suites, designed to become a boutique hotel within the hotel itself. In addition, the hotel will open Doha’s first InterContinental Spa featuring 16 world class treatment rooms, the world largest Belgian Café with over 400 seating capacity with a brand-new outdoor terrace; a refined Cigar Bar, and a Club InterContinental Lounge overviewing the skylines of Doha.

And for those looking for a luxurious life style in Qatar, the extension includes a residential project adjacent to InterContinental Doha and offering 18 Beach villas and 76 apartments. All those residences will enjoy 5-Star facilities and services.

“InterContinental Doha has always been a key hospitality hub in Qatar and this development will further strengthen its position and offer the Doha visitors and residents a unique address in town.” commented Pascal Gauvin, IHG chief operating officer, India, Middle East and Africa.

The extension is set to be completed second quarter of 2016. – TradeArabia News Service
