International Air Transport Association (Iata) has chosen the 2016 Bahrain International Air Show to host a seminar regarding its new safety programme for smaller aircraft – the Iata Standard Safety Assessment (ISSA). The event which was held on the third day of the show, was the first time that Iata’s new audit programme was presented in the Middle East, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
