Gulf Hotels opens new property in Bahrain

MANAMA, October 22, 2016

Gulf Hotels Group, a leading hospitality chain in Bahrain, has announced the opening of its newest four-star property in the kingdom, Gulf Residence Amwaj.

The hotel boasts 173 luxury hotel apartments spread across two buildings, including studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom suites along with penthouses. It is a part of Luna Real Estate Development Company.

The Gulf Residence Amwaj was officially inaugurated last week by the chief executive of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa.

All the apartments in the four-star property have been designed in a modern and contemporary style with a focus on quality and functionality.

“The opening of the hotel reflects Bahrain's standing as a tourism destination that attracts local and foreign investments,” said Shaikh Khalid.

“A core element of our strategy and strenuous efforts launched this year under the umbrella of ‘Ours Yours’ is to develop this vital sector which plays a crucial role in spurring growth," he stated.

"Our strategy aims to promote Bahrain by engaging the public and private sectors while supporting and encouraging innovative projects aimed at developing the tourism infrastructure,” he added.

Speaking at the launch, Abdullah Buhindi, the chairman of the board of directors in Luna Real Estate Development Company, said: "the project plays an integral part in promoting Amwaj Waves, a project owned by Luna. The addition of this hotel will be an added value for both residents and tourists."

Each apartment in the Gulf Residence Amwaj will have spacious living and dining areas. The key facilities will include a landscaped swimming pool deck, fitness centre, restaurants, shops, meeting rooms and parking space, a health club with sauna and steam rooms, children’s pool, Jacuzzi, food and soft beverage outlets and commercial area.-TradeArabia News Service
