Muriya launches Phase II of Oman freehold project

MUSCAT, September 19, 2017

Muriya, one of the largest and most diversified private real estate and tourism developers in Oman, has launched the second phase of its free-hold development, Lagoons Project, located within its flagship destination, Hawana Salalah in the southernmost governorate of Dhofar, said a report.

The launch comes following the success of the Phase I of the Lagoons Project at Hawana Salalah, the only Integrated Tourism Complex (ITC) at Dhofar, which got sold out within just four weeks of its soft launch last month, reported Oman Observer.

The Phase Two of the Lagoons Project boasts a range of freehold properties starting at RO28,000 ($72,488) entitling non-Omani buyers to residency in Oman.

As such, being part of the largest and fastest growing ITC destination in Oman, the Lagoons provides homebuyers and investors a unique business and lifestyle proposition to benefit from, such as the opportunity to capitalise on the potential of high property rental yield and future value appreciation, it stated.

The Lagoons Project comprises freehold studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments and twin-houses.

Featuring an impressive range of amenities, the project is designed to ensure residents can look forward to enjoying the waters of the lagoons, a 1.6-km lagoon promenade, tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool, a women’s only swimming pool and a children’s playground, said the report.

In addition, buyers will have access to the destination’s existing wide-ranging facilities, including three hotels; the Salalah Rotana Resort, Fanar Hotel & Residences and the Juweira Boutique Hotel, a 170-berth marina, a diverse selection of shops and restaurants, as well as a range of water sports, it added.
