Emaar names new GM for Vida Downtown hotel

DUBAI, April 20, 2019

Emaar Hospitality Group, the leisure business of Dubai-based developer Emaar Properties, has appointed seasoned strategic and result-driven leader, Nicolas Chammaa, as the new General Manager for its Vida Downtown hotel.
 
Overseeing all aspects of the hotel, Chammaa will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and in driving the hotel’s strategic growth, said a statement from the Dubai group. 
 
He has almost two decades of experience in the hotel business, including at well-known properties in Bahrain, Oman, UAE, and the Philippines. 
 
Chammaa graduated from Notre Dame University with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and Tourism.
 
Welcoming the appointment, Olivier Harnisch, CEO of Emaar Hospitality Group, said: "Chammaa’s appointment aims at further strengthening the growth of Vida Downtown.
