Manama, March 19, 2012

Bahrain has entered the Guinness World Records for the largest three-dimensional anamorphic painting.

The image Piece 4 Peace, which measures 2,293.79 sq m, was created last month by New Horizon School (NHS) staff and students, in association with three-dimensional artist Limnesh Augustine and his team.

It measured at 1,160.40 sq m and was displayed at West India Quay, Canary Wharf, London, last year.

The main partners for the NHS event were Al Namal Group and Jotun Paints, with support from, Lipton Ice Tea, Wael Pharmacy, Gulf Air, UAE Exchange, Bahrain Financing Company, LIC, Almoayyed Scaffoldings, Artobrand, Al Jishi, LG, Al Karar Trading, Royal Bahrain Hospital and Vision security system.
