Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury hospitality company and a member of Dubai Holding, has appointed Cornelia Koebele as director of sales and marketing for Jumeirah Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi.

Koebele has a significant track record in the hospitality sector having worked for Rosewood, Le Méridien and Hyatt, as well representing Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) in her home country of Germany, a statement said.

She also worked as director of business development and marketing at Jumeirah Emirates Towers for four years under the leadership of Doris Greif, who is now general manager of Jumeirah Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi.

Jumeirah Etihad Towers said that the property is on track to open in July 2011, its developers said in a statement. – TradeArabia News Service
