The Japan-based company with a 100-year heritage and over $60 million committed to coatings research each year offers an extensive range of premium luxury coatings in a full palette of 1,500 colours and textures.

The paints developed by Kansai are claimed to feature benefits that can help reduce building temperatures and even destroy disease-spreading bacteria.

• ActiveCool Technology – Part of Kansai’s Neoshield range of exterior paints, the ActiveCool formulation helps reduce a building’s carbon footprint by up to 40 per cent. The formulation is developed with binder technology designed to reflect infrared rays from sunlight effectively, thereby reduce surface temperatures of buildings, air-conditioning costs, and carbon dioxide emissions.
• ActiveSilver Technology - Featured in Kansai’s Wallscape range of luxury emulsion paints for home and professional use, the ActiveSilver technology can kill disease-spreading bacteria, and curb fungus, mould and disease-spreading germs. Especially useful in kitchens, bathrooms, children’s bedrooms and even hospitals, ActiveSilver utilises binder technology with silver ions suspended in the actual paint film to ensure quick-acting, long-lasting protection against disease spreading germs and microbes.
• Artisan Casa - Embodying the essence of beauty, distinction and glamour, each product in the Casa range presents a unique mood: bold eminence, refined elegance, sophisticated glamour or friendly warmth.
