Leading UAE developer Aldar Properties said its estate management company Provis has
introduced a series of measures to support property owners and tenants in communities that it manages, as part of Aldar's Dh100 million ($27.2 million) package.
Effective immediately, under this scheme, property owners can enjoy flexible service charges payment plans, while tenants can benefit from flexible rental payment schemes and exemptions on different transactional fees, as deemed applicable, it stated.
Provis CEO HP Aengaar said: "We are moving through a challenging phase globally, and the UAE’s leadership is taking decisive action to limit the impact on communities and businesses."
"At the direction of our parent company Aldar Properties, we are coordinating with local banks to offer our owners and tenants direct debit options and flexible payment plans," stated Aengaar.
"We will also continue to accept online payments through our Provis portal for owners, tenants and residents. Should any of our clients still wish to pay by cheque, we have partnered with courier companies to facilitate cheques’ collection from our clients at their homes," he added.
Provis was launched last year by Aldar to disrupt the estate management sector in the UAE. It provides key services including property management consultancy and management, owners’ association consultancy and management, sales & leasing and clubhouse and lifestyle management.
The estate management firm manages over 29,000 units across both property management and owners’ association management and has sold and leased thousands of properties across the emirates.
"We are also taking additional safety and precautionary measures across all communities, while actively communicating with our residents through our online channels, to safeguard the health and safety of our clients and society at large," remarked Aengaar.
Furthermore, Provis, is collaborating with healthcare providers to facilitate remote medical consultations and delivery of prescribed medications. It will also offer virtual entertainment and fitness activities for its customers through its social media handles, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
