Group Amana clocks 2m safe man hours at Miza Phase 1

Group Amana, the regional leader in the design-build of industrial and commercial facilities, said it has achieved a significant safety milestone at the Phase I of Mina Zayed (MiZa) development, clocking 2 million safe man hours with Zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI).

Tucked in the heart of Abu Dhabi's historical Mina Zayed port, MiZa is an innovation-focused neighbourhood in Abu Dhabi catering to diverse entrepreneurial communities.

As per the MiZa masterplan, the project developers will be converting around 6.5 million sq ft of unused industrial port space into a thriving arts and innovation neighborhood buzzing with activity, new ideas and collaboration for residents and workers.
On the key milestone, Group Amana said this was achieved in co-ordination with its partners -
Modon, a leading developer of residential communities and world-class leisure destinations - and Mace, a leading global consultant and construction expert.

This accomplishment underscores Group Amana's steadfast commitment to implementing and maintaining the highest health, safety and environment (HSE) standards throughout the project’s execution.

"This result demonstrates the strength of our safety management systems, the dedication of our workforce, and the collaborative approach fostered across all site activities. It reflects not only operational progress but also our continued responsibility to ensure secure, efficient, and well-managed working environments," said a company spokesperson.

Group Amana acknowledges the valuable support of our partners, Modon and Mace, whose cooperation and shared focus on safety excellence have been instrumental in achieving this milestone, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
