Qatar Airways announces limited flight schedule for coming days

Qatar Airways has announced a limited flight schedule for the coming days after receiving temporary approval to operate certain routes following recent disruptions.

The airline said the move follows authorization from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, which approved restricted operating corridors allowing a number of flights to resume and enabling affected passengers to continue their journeys.

The carrier said the temporary schedule is intended to support travellers impacted by the disruption and help reunite them with family and friends as quickly and safely as possible.

Flights departing Hamad International Airport in Doha on March 10 will include services to destinations such as Cairo, London, Jeddah, Manila, Istanbul, Mumbai, Delhi, Nairobi, Madrid, Frankfurt, Colombo, Milan and Moscow, among others.

On March 11, additional departures will connect Doha with cities including Toronto, Dallas, Paris, Rome, Hong Kong, Seoul, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Melbourne.

The airline also confirmed several incoming flights to Doha during the same period from cities such as Seoul, Moscow, London, Delhi, Madrid, Islamabad, Beijing, Perth, Nairobi and Istanbul, with further arrivals scheduled through March 12.

Qatar Airways emphasized that these flights do not signal a full return to normal operations, but are intended to ease travel disruption and assist stranded passengers.

Travellers have been advised to check the latest updates on the airline’s website or mobile app, or contact their travel agent before heading to the airport.

Passengers were also urged not to travel to the airport unless they have a confirmed ticket. -TradeArabia News Service
