Riyadh Air expands Saudi aviation careers with Nawat Programme

Riyadh Air has launched the Nawat Cabin Crew Programme to train Saudi nationals for aviation careers, supporting Vision 2030 and its goal of connecting Saudi Arabia to over 100 destinations by 2030.

The initiative targets large-scale recruitment to build national aviation talent.

Developed with Bunyan for Training Company, the eight-month programme will prepare candidates in safety, service, language skills, and professional standards.

Training begins in August 2026, with graduates joining as cabin crew in 2027.

The programme is part of Riyadh Air’s wider Nawat initiatives, which include engineering roles, scholarships in aircraft maintenance, graduate training, and a cadet pilot programme. Together, these pathways aim to strengthen Saudi participation across aviation careers.

Cabin crew will serve as frontline ambassadors of the airline and the Kingdom, delivering safety, service, and hospitality while representing Saudi culture globally.

Applications are open to Saudi men and women aged 21 and above, with recruitment conducted through nationwide roadshows and online applications.

The initiative reinforces Riyadh Air’s long-term strategy to develop local talent, expand aviation capabilities, and provide structured career pathways with professional growth and national representation opportunities.

Nahar Aljahani, Senior Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Business Partners at Riyadh Air, said: “Riyadh Air is fully committed to building a national talent pipeline in the aviation sector across many different areas of the business and cabin crew are an essential part of our operations. Following our existing initiatives, the Nawat Cabin Crew Program will play a vital role in developing the Kingdom’s aviation sector, supporting our goal to create more than 200,000 direct and indirect job opportunities under Vision 2030.” -TradeArabia News Service
