MeetingPackage has announced an expansion of its integration with Cvent, aimed at streamlining and automating hotel group booking and event sales workflows.
The enhanced integration will allow hotels to create,
manage, automate, and synchronise full group booking proposals directly within
the MeetingPackage platform, removing the need for sales teams to manually
handle proposals across multiple systems.
The development builds on an existing partnership between
the two companies, with more than 200 hotels already using MeetingPackage to
automate inbound Cvent request-for-proposal (RFP) workflows.
The companies expect more than 2,000 hotels to be connected
through the integration ecosystem by the end of 2026.
MeetingPackage said its platform already automates much of
the RFP process by matching real-time inventory, room types, meeting products,
packages, and services to incoming inquiries without requiring manual
verification.
The next phase of the integration will further expand
capabilities by enabling hotels to automate proposal generation based on
availability and business rules, review AI-assisted quotation workflows, and
synchronise approved proposals directly with Cvent.
The first phase of the upgraded proposal creation tools,
focused on group bookings without meetings and events (M&E) requirements,
is expected to launch ahead of Cvent CONNECT, taking place July 13–16.
Additional functionality supporting full M&E proposal
workflows is planned before the end of 2026.
MeetingPackage said the expanded integration forms part of
its wider strategy to create a centralised commercial platform for hospitality
sales operations.
The platform already supports AI-powered inquiry management,
automated quotation workflows, booking engines, channel management, and
centralised sales operations across hotel brands and portfolios.
“This is a major step toward fully connected and automated
group sales operations for hotels,” said Joonas Ahola, Founder and CEO of
MeetingPackage. “Hotels should not have to verify availability across
disconnected systems, or spend valuable sales time managing repetitive
operational work. Together with Cvent’s new API capabilities, we’re helping
hotels automate the entire quotation journey while still maintaining full
control over approvals, workflows, and customer experience.”
According to the company, hotels using the full platform
achieve average lead conversion rates of 60–70% between won and lost
quotations, highlighting the commercial benefits of automation and faster
response times.
The platform integrates with hospitality systems including
Oracle Opera, Mews, Event Temple, iVvy, Backyou, and Thynk, with additional
integrations planned later this year.
Global hotel operators including Sonesta, Premier Inn, and
Accor are already using MeetingPackage and its Cvent integration capabilities
as the hospitality sector increasingly adopts automation and AI-driven
commercial workflows.
