Emerson has announced a collaboration with Aramco to co-develop next-generation corrosion management solutions for use across the company’s operations.

The initiative aims to support more consistent and data-driven approaches to corrosion monitoring.

Corrosion management is an important operational focus for Aramco, linked to asset integrity, safety and environmental performance.

The new approach is intended to reduce reliance on manual inspection methods by enabling continuous monitoring and digital data collection.

Under the agreement, Aramco will contribute its operational expertise and intellectual property, while Emerson will provide ultrasonic online corrosion monitoring technology, wireless connectivity for corrosion wall thickness measurement devices, and real-time data systems.

The collaboration is intended to support the development of a tailored corrosion management solution for Aramco’s industrial processes.
