Saur, a global water services company, reaffirmed its commitment to advancing water security in the Gulf region during G7 discussions in Evian and Vision Golfe 2026 in Paris, highlighting the GCC’s emergence as a global benchmark in resilient and sustainable water management.
The company emphasised that water security is now a
strategic priority alongside energy and infrastructure, supporting economic
resilience, climate adaptation, and sovereignty.
At Vision Golfe 2026, Saur International CEO Luis de Lope
joined a high-level panel on water security, decarbonisation, and circular
management models, stressing the GCC’s growing focus on integrated water
strategies.
He highlighted the importance of collaboration between
Europe and the Gulf to accelerate innovation and infrastructure development.
de Lope said: “Across the GCC region, we are witnessing a
major transformation in the way water infrastructure is being approached. The
region is pioneering integrated models that combine water security,
infrastructure resilience, circular resource management, and operational
performance at a scale that is redefining global benchmarks.”
Saur also underlined the role of public-private partnerships
in modernising water systems and improving efficiency.
The company showcased its regional footprint in Saudi
Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, supporting large-scale wastewater and operational
