Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi Airports and the Culture Sector of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) have launched the Welcome Back to Abu Dhabi campaign at Zayed International Airport (AUH), aimed at families returning from summer holidays ahead of the new school year.
The campaign
transforms the airport arrival into a cultural welcome, encouraging families to
continue exploring Abu Dhabi after returning home.
The initiative brings
together the emirate’s national carrier, airport and cultural institutions to
create a family-focused experience.
Arriving families will
receive specially designed cultural boarding passes offering access to curated
experiences and events.
Children and senior
citizens can benefit from free entry to selected museums across the Saadiyat
Cultural District, while educational guides highlight Abu Dhabi’s cultural and
historic attractions.
Young travellers will
also receive campaign-themed giveaways as keepsakes of their arrival, linking
their return home with cultural experiences across the emirate.
Running throughout the
back-to-school season, the campaign’s QR-code journey provides access to
curated family itineraries, museum highlights and cultural events.
The initiative is part of a broader programme of year-round activations designed to celebrate key community moments and showcase Abu Dhabi’s cultural attractions to residents and visitors, while encouraging families to discover, learn and create memories together. -TradeArabia News Service
