RelyOn has agreed to acquire Windhunter Academy from FAMUR, strengthening its presence in Poland’s wind energy training market.
Established in 2009, Windhunter is a provider of
safety and technical training for the wind sector.
Its Koszalin facility
was Poland’s first Global Wind Organisation (GWO) training centre and has built
a strong reputation for quality and technical expertise.
The acquisition will complement RelyOn’s existing Gdańsk
operations, expanding its presence to three locations across Poland.
The deal positions RelyOn to capitalise on growing demand
for qualified personnel and specialist training driven by Poland’s energy
transition and Europe’s expanding wind industry.
Witold Szczepkowski, Country Director, Poland at RelyOn,
said: “windhunter brings together a strong reputation in wind industry
training, experienced technical specialists and long-standing customer
relationships. Combining these capabilities with RelyOn’s existing presence and
expertise will strengthen our offering to customers in Poland and support our
growth in the renewable energy market.”
Paweł Majcherkiewicz, Vice President at FAMUR, added: “The transaction marks a new stage of development for windhunter academy. We believe that access to the RelyOn Group’s global client network, international expertise, and experience will create additional opportunities for the company to continue its growth and strengthen its market position.” -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
