Italian tech company Vimar deploys key solution at Raffles Jeddah

Italian technology company Vimar has deployed its Eikon Exé electrical control and home range at the newly opened Raffles Jeddah, a luxury hospitality development overlooking Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coastline.

Designed by international architecture firm DSA Architects, the development features two towers incorporating contemporary design with traditional Saudi architectural elements, including mashrabiyas, decorative screens that also provide thermal insulation.

Raffles Jeddah comprises 182 rooms and suites, 120 apartments with private terraces, three restaurants and a spa with indoor and outdoor pools. Its residences range from three to five bedrooms.

Vimar said its Eikon Exé series, finished in polished nickel with traditional white controls, was integrated into the project's interiors to complement the development's design.

The product range offers more than 200 functions across international standards and includes traditional, Vintage, Flat and Tondo control options, the company said. The Tondo design was recently recognised with the Compasso d'Oro International Award.

Vimar said its technology was selected to combine aesthetics, functionality and customisation while supporting the project's focus on comfort and sustainability.

The Raffles Jeddah development forms part of Saudi Arabia's expanding luxury hospitality sector as the kingdom invests in tourism infrastructure under its Vision 2030 economic diversification programme.
