Qatar Airways is expanding its operations in Saudi Arabia with the resumption of services to four destinations this winter, strengthening connectivity between the Kingdom and its global network of more than 160 destinations.

Flights to Qassim will resume on October 25, 2026, followed by Taif on October 31, Yanbu on January 2, 2027, and Tabuk on January 3.

The airline will operate two weekly flights on each route, giving passengers greater travel options and access to connections through Doha’s Hamad International Airport.

As part of its continued expansion in the Saudi market, Qatar Airways will operate more than 155 weekly flights to the Kingdom during the winter season, representing an increase of more than 10 percent compared with its summer schedule.

The airline said it carried more than 2.3 million passengers between Saudi Arabia and its global network over the past 12 months.

It has also increased frequencies on key routes, including Riyadh, where weekly services rose from 35 to 49 flights in June 2026.

The expansion comes amid strong demand for Qatar Airways’ services and connections through its Doha hub.

Passengers on some of the airline’s busiest Saudi routes can also access next-generation onboard connectivity.

Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam are regularly served by widebody aircraft equipped with Starlink, providing complimentary high-speed, gate-to-gate Wi-Fi on eligible flights.

In July 2026, Qatar Airways operated more than 685 Starlink-equipped flights across the three Saudi routes, further enhancing the passenger experience as the airline expands its presence in the Kingdom. -TradeArabia News Service
