The main structure of the first hotel in the R1029 Island Project in Dubai, built by China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), was recently topped out.

Located on a renowned artificial island in Dubai and adjacent to the iconic seven-star Burj Al Arab, the R1029 Island project covers roughly 440,000 sq m of floor area and is planned to comprise four five-star international hotels, premium apartments and a supporting commercial centre.

The topping-out hotel is the first core building in the project to complete its main structure. The project team worked with sound organisation and precise execution, maintaining strict control over both safety and quality throughout, to bring the structure to completion, CSCEC said.

Work is now advancing in tandem across the remaining main structures, while mechanical and electrical installation is being pushed forward in full, creating favourable conditions for the orderly sequencing of interior and exterior works and parallel execution across multiple workfaces, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
