King Abdulaziz International Airport has received two international accreditations from Airports Council International (ACI) World, recognising its customer experience and public health and safety standards.
The airport earned Level 4 Airport Customer Experience (CX)
Accreditation, placing it among the world’s top 12 airports to achieve the
distinction.
The accreditation was presented in Istanbul, Türkiye, and
received by Jeddah Airports (JEDCO) CEO Mazen Johar.
The assessment evaluated eight areas, including customer
understanding, strategy, measurement, operational improvement, governance,
airport culture, service design and innovation, and collaboration with airport
stakeholders.
King Abdulaziz International Airport also received Public
Health and Safety Readiness (PHSR) Accreditation, confirming its preparedness
against internationally recognised health and safety standards.
JEDCO said the achievements reflect its focus on improving
passenger services, adopting global best practices and strengthening
coordination among airport stakeholders. The initiatives aim to deliver a
smoother, more innovative passenger experience across the airport. -TradeArabia News Service
