Qiddiya Investment Company and Cleveland Clinic have formalised a strategic advisory collaboration to support the design, development and operational planning of world-class sports medicine and performance centres in Saudi Arabia.
As part of the collaboration, Cleveland Clinic will provide advisory services and global best practices to support the development of best-in-class sports medicine and performance facilities, beginning in Riyadh and extending to the planned Sports Medicine Centre of Excellence in Qiddiya City.
Qiddiya City - Qiddiya Investment Company's flagship initiative and one of the world's largest entertainment, sports and culture destinations - is being built from scratch on the foundations of play as part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. At its heart is a Sports Medicine Center of Excellence spanning sports medicine, rehabilitation, high performance, esports and wellness, designed to serve elite athletes and the broader active population as a defining expression of Qiddiya CIty's identity as a City Powered by Play.
Cleveland Clinic brings deep expertise in the comprehensive care of athletes of all ages and levels, uniting multidisciplinary specialists with the latest advances in sports medicine and technology. Through this engagement, Qiddiya Investment Company will draw on Cleveland Clinic's globally recognized clinical programs and multidisciplinary model to develop a center capable of delivering integrated, athlete-centered care - from injury prevention and diagnosis through to rehabilitation, performance optimization and long-term wellness.
