AMPO POYAM VALVES has secured a contract to supply specialised cryogenic gate, globe, and check valves for the Power, Capture and Compression (PCC) Project, a key component of the Net Zero Teesside (NZT) initiative in North-East England.

Developed by a BP and Equinor joint venture and executed by Technip Energies, NZT aims to create the UK's first zero-carbon industrial cluster by capturing up to 10 million tonnes of CO2 annually.

The project integrates a CCGT power plant with a post-combustion carbon capture system and high-pressure CO2 compression infrastructure for offshore sequestration.

AMPO’s valve deliveries are scheduled between September 2026 and 2027.

This contract underscores the company’s growing role in delivering engineered valve solutions for critical carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS) projects, reinforcing its commitment to the global energy transition. -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
