Saudi-based Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Company has announced that it has secured a contract worth nearly SAR80 million ($21.3 million) from Dammam Airports Company for the rehabilitation of water and wastewater infrastructure at King Fahad International Airport.

The project scope includes the design, construction, supply, installation, replacement, rehabilitation and integration of water and wastewater infrastructure, said Alkhorayef in its filing to Saudi bourse Tadawul.

It also covers pumps, storage tanks and reservoirs, reverse osmosis (RO) facilities, piping and tie-ins, as well as electrical and instrumentation works.

A leading Saudi utility infrastructure company, Alkhorayef has been undertaking several large-scale water and wastewater projects across the kingdom.

The entire work will be completed within a period of 18 months, it stated.

The financial impact of the project is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
