Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) has opened Kapitol at Rixos Premium Dubai JBR, marking the launch of its dedicated Social Gaming division and introducing a new high-tech entertainment concept to the UAE.

The venue combines competitive gaming, digital scoring, premium dining and creative beverages, offering guests a complete social experience under one roof.

Kapitol features eight gaming experiences, including several technologies introduced to the region for the first time.

Highlights include Major League Baseball-style batting cages with automated pitching and real-time performance tracking, Puttify interactive mini golf and Wave Italy Pro racing simulators designed for GT-style competition.

The venue also offers 10 Brunswick bowling lanes equipped with Spark technology, featuring interactive projections and games, alongside VIP bowling areas.

Additional attractions include digital darts, axe throwing, shuffleboard and private karaoke rooms with dynamic lighting, multilingual song selections and performance recording.

The dining concept focuses on sharing, with a menu inspired by SHG’s Italian, Asian and casual dining portfolio.

Kapitol is also designed for corporate events, team-building, private celebrations, group nights, brand activations and full-venue buyouts, with tailored food, beverage and entertainment packages available.

Nazih Hafez, Vice Chairman and Managing Partner of Sunset, shared: “Kapitol embodies our vision for the next era of lifestyle hospitality. As Sunset continues to diversify into new verticals, stepping into social gaming represents a natural and bold progression for our portfolio.”

Cenk Ünverdi, COO of Rixos Hotels, added: “Partnering with Sunset Hospitality Group to bring Kapitol to Rixos Premium Dubai JBR is an exciting addition to the hotel’s entertainment offering. By bringing together social gaming, dining and live entertainment under one roof, Kapitol creates a new reason to visit and further strengthens the hotel's position as one of Dubai’s most dynamic lifestyle destinations.” -TradeArabia News Service
