WSP announces key Mideast executive committee appointment

WSP, one of the world’s leading engineering, science and infrastructure solutions firms, has announced the appointment of Rob Kettlety and Emma Wyatt to its Middle East Executive Committee, as the business continues to grow across the Middle East.

Kettlety has been appointed Executive Director, Clients & Growth, while Wyatt joins the Middle East Executive Committee alongside her role as Senior Vice President, Marketing & Communications for EMEIAA.

These appointments strengthen WSP’s regional leadership team as the business continues to grow across the Middle East, supporting clients on some of the region’s most ambitious and transformative projects and programmes.

Kettlety has been appointed Executive Director, Clients & Growth. Having been part of WSP for 16 years, he has played a significant role in the firm’s growth journey across the Middle East, working across commercial, operational, and client-facing leadership roles.

He has helped shape many aspects of its success, building strong relationships with leading clients and contributing to some of WSP’s most significant opportunities, projects, and programmes.

In his new role, Rob will focus on strengthening client relationships, identifying future growth opportunities, and bringing together the breadth of expertise across WSP to support clients in delivering complex, high-impact programmes across the region.

On Wyatt, WSP said she has spent more than a decade leading marketing and communications teams within the group bringing extensive experience in strategic communications, marketing, brand, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement. She has recently relocated to Dubai, after previously being based with WSP in the UK.

She leads Marketing & Communications across Europe, the Middle East, India, Africa, and Asia, supporting business growth, strengthening client engagement, and showcasing the expertise, innovation, and impact delivered by WSP’s people across some of the world’s most significant projects and programmes.

As a member of the Middle East Executive Committee, Wyatt will support the continued strengthening of WSP’s market profile across the region, helping connect clients with the firm’s expertise and elevate the profile of its people, projects, and achievements.

Lauding the appointments, Dean McGrail, President, Middle East & Asia at WSP, said: "These appointments reflect the strength of our business and our ambitions for the future. Rob and Emma bring valuable experience, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of how we can continue supporting our clients, our people, and our long-term growth across the Middle East."

"Their appointments further strengthen our Executive Committee as we continue to evolve our business and deliver exceptional outcomes across the region," he stated.

The appointments reflect WSP’s continued focus on strengthening its leadership capability, deepening client relationships, and positioning the business for long-term success across the Middle East, he added.

On his new role, Kettlety said: “What excites me most about this role is the opportunity to help shape what comes next for our business. We have extraordinary expertise across the Middle East and throughout WSP globally, and my focus will be on connecting our people, clients, and capabilities more effectively to create lasting value."

"We want to be the partner of choice on the region’s most ambitious programmes and projects, while continuing to champion the talented people whose expertise and innovation make that possible," he noted.

Wyatt said: "The Middle East is one of the most dynamic and fast-growing regions in the world, and I’m delighted to be joining the Executive Committee at such an exciting time for the business. My focus will be on strengthening how we connect our expertise to our clients, enhancing our market profile, and ensuring we continue to tell compelling stories about the extraordinary work our people deliver every day."

"We have an incredible opportunity to showcase the breadth of our capabilities, support our growth ambitions, and further strengthen WSP’s reputation across the region," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
