Brookfield, Lunate join forces to develop premium homes in GCC

Leading global investment firms Brookfield and Lunate have launched Alya, a new platform focused on premium build-to-sell residential developments across the GCC, combining the global investment firm's development expertise with Lunate's regional networks.

The Dubai-based venture aims to target high-growth markets across the region, with a focus on residential projects that emphasise design quality and long-term value rather than speed to market.

Alya's management team brings more than 40 years of combined experience in regional residential real estate and is pursuing a pipeline of premium housing developments across the GCC.

Regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), the platform combines Brookfield’s global development capabilities with Lunate’s deep regional access and networks. It sets out its vision for premium residential developments built on institutional discipline, global quality design and delivery.

Alya said it remained focused on premium residential development for a discerning regional and international audience.

Every project begins with its unique setting and parameters - its site, locality, lifestyle and the people who will live there - and is developed through a bespoke design narrative shaped to global standards. No two Alya developments will be the same, but each will share the same ambition: to create places with a distinct identity, thoughtful design, enduring quality and a clear sense of purpose, it stated.

On the new venture, Alya CEO Otto Dreyer said: "We wanted to build something that feels like it has always been here - governed, considered and built for permanence rather than a single cycle. That is the vision we are holding ourselves to from day one."

"Quality is the thread that will run through every Alya project - quality of thought, design, execution, handover and customer experience. That is the vision we are holding ourselves to from day one," he stated.

Dreyer pointed out that the team was actively pursuing a pipeline of premium build-to-sell residential developments in the region’s highest growth markets.

Institutionally owned and governed, Alya brings global development discipline together with deep regional relationships. Its approach is deliberately selective, allowing the team to focus on the quality of each project rather than development volume, and to uphold the standards it sets from concept through to delivery, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
