Barwa gets top HSE certifications

Doha, December 9, 2013

Qatar-based Barwa Bank has been awarded an OHSAS18001:2007 certification for its occupational, health and safety standards.

It has also been awarded an ISO 9001:2008 certification for its quality and business excellence management system across its operations, said the bank in a statement.

Abdul Aziz Mohammed Hamad Al Mana, vice chairman, said: “Barwa Bank maintains international standards and as a team we feel very proud of these achievements that demonstrate our commitment to quality management and the health and safety of our employees.”

Nasser Mohammed Al-Hajri, the bank’s group chief administration officer thanked the staff for their hard work in improving both the quality management processes, and safety and occupational health across Barwa Bank and its subsidiaries. - TradeArabia News Service
