Forum to boost GCC-Turkey trade

Manama, May 26, 2014

Bahrain is set to host a forum next month aimed at enhancing bilateral business relations between Turkey and GCC countries.

The GCC-Turkish Business Forum will be held at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence and Spa on June 9 and 10 under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

The two-day forum will bring together officials and top level business executives and key investors from Turkey and GCC countries.

Organised by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) in co-operation with the Federation of GCC Chambers and the Federation of Turkish Chambers, the forum will focus on the investment climate in Turkey and GCC countries.

"The forum will provide a platform to engage the officials and business leaders to explore key areas for the development of the trade and investment relations between Turkey and GCC countries," said BCCI chief executive Nabeel Al Mahmood.

"The event will be an excellent opportunity for the participants for networking and identifying opportunities for fruitful business and investment partners," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
