A leading construction industry event is set to host more than 850 companies from 35 countries, showcasing the latest advanced services and solutions, in Riyadh next month.

The Saudi Build 2013, the 25th international construction technology and building materials exhibition will take place at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 4 to 7.

The event will feature many high-profile, professional visitors; present latest offerings in building materials and equipment, architectural finishing products, construction tools and technology, engineering services, security and safety systems; and offer comprehensive business and technology solutions for real estate contractors, agents and developers.

The projected growth rate of the Saudi construction market stands at 35 per cent over the next three year, with the total value of projects planned or underway in the kingdom currently estimated at $732 billion. It is poised to become the fastest-growing in the Saudi economy by 2015.

Zeyad Al Rukban, deputy general manager of organiser Riyadh Exhibitions Company, said: “Driven by increasing private and public investments in 2013, we are witnessing a definitive surge in construction projects in Saudi Arabia – particularly in the fields of social and transport infrastructure.”

“This year’s event has been tailored not just to mark our 25th anniversary, but also to provide all the stakeholders the full range of building solutions and the opportunity to access the Saudi and regional construction markets,” he said.

Events to be held concurrently with Saudi Build to ensure trade visitors are able to source all their project needs at one location, include Saudi Build - The PMV Series 2013, the third international exhibition for construction equipment, plant, machinery and vehicle; and Saudi Stone-Tech, the 16th international stone and stone technology and machinery exhibition. - TradeArabia News Service
