UAE ministry, TUV conduct training program

The UAE Ministry of Finance recently organised a training program in partnership with the TUV Middle East – Abu Dhabi to help enhance the skills of the ministry's trainers and human resources personnel.

The 'Train-the-Trainers' course introduced various training techniques, including presentations, case studies, team work and short tests, all of which should be used by professional trainers, said a ministry statement.

Commenting on the course, Fatima Saif Al-Sawaya, HR manager at the Ministry of Finance, stressed that the ministry was keen on the long term development of its human resources and on adopting organizational excellence standards, with a view for improving productivity and achieving the Ministry’s strategy and goals.

"TUV Middle East – Abu Dhabi was selected to conduct this training course as it is one of the leading companies in this field. It is approved as a training service provider from various governmental and private bodies in the UAE."

"It is also accredited and authorized to grant Quality Management Certifications to institutions," Al-Sawaya said, adding that the Ministry of Finance will be organizing later a similar training course for its employees in Abu Dhabi.

Walid Atef, TUV Middle East's Marketing CEO said the course was very effective and important in terms of the training needs of ministry employees.

"The UAE vision stresses the importance of human development and providing employees with continuous technical support, as this will help improve economic performance, developing the skills and capabilities of local manpower and provide the proper environment for UAE's future development," Atef noted.
 
TUV Middle East is an accredited company that can grant the ISO 9001 Quality Certificate, and the ISO 29001 for Oil & Gas Management, ISO 14001 for Environmental Management System, among other international certificates.
