Bahrain expat students win big at India contest

Sixteen Bahrain-based Indian students who took part in a national science and technology contest have been lauded as 'Sastra Pratibha' (Science Talent).
 
Organised by the Science India Forum in association with the National Science Movement of India and the Indian Embassy in Bahrain, the Sastra Pratibha Contest featured 6,748 students from eight Indian schools across the country, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
 
The winners were from the Indian School Nandana Chandra, year five, Aswin Suresh and Keyur Ganesh Chawdhary, year seven, Amish Devan, year nine, Ritu Ann Roy and Utso Roy, year 10, and Rahul Jayaprakash, year 12; from the New Millennium School Aniketh Das Roy, year eight, Parineetha Devadas, year nine, Pinjala Sai Sudheer, year 11, and Kiran Murali, year 12; from the Asian School Kapil Rajesh, year six, Naeema Muhammad, year eight; from the New Horizon School Nanditha Dileep, year five, and Varsha Suresh, year six; and Aswathi Prakash from year 10 at the Ibn Al Hytham School. - TradeArabia News Service
