Bahrain plans new school curricula

Manama, July 12, 2014

Bahrain will draw up a national framework for educational curricula in the next school year, said a senior government official.

Education Minister Dr Majid Al Nuaimi announced the blueprint as he hosted his second Ramadan majlis, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

He said the draft guide will be discussed with Unesco International Bureau of Education.

Once endorsed, the document will be used as the basis for Bahrain’s sustainable education policies. It aims to foster respect for citizenship, human rights, co-existence, tolerance and moderation among students. – TradeArabia News Service
