A leading oral and maxillofacial surgeon based in Dubai shared the latest treatment for dental implants at an event in Abu Dhabi recently.

Dr Costa Nicolopoulos spoke on the ‘Less graft surgery for more dental implant treatment,’ sharing the techniques used at SameDay Dental Implants, a Dubai-based clinic that was the first to offer treatment for dental implants in the Middle East.

Dr Nicolopoulos discussed atraumatic surgical techniques used to treat implant patients with suboptimal bone volume in order to avoid bone grafting procedures at the Ambulatory Healthcare Services, an outpatient care concept from the Abu Dhabi Health Care Services (Seha) – CPD Committee Dental Department.

Also speaking at the event was Dr Petros Yuvanoglu, a prosthodontist from SameDay Dental Implants, who lectured on the topic, “The prosthetic rehabilitation of dental implants.”
