Du launches live communication platform

Dubai, January 7, 2014

Dubai-based telecom operator du has launched ‘Let’s Talk,’ a new direct integrated communication platform that provides access to its senior management and communication experts during live broadcast sessions.

The initiative is being inaugurated as part of du’s efforts to further empower the people of the UAE with telecommunication knowledge, said a statement.

Du’s CEO Osman Sultan will host the first live inaugural session on January 13, where he will discuss the issue of Mobile Number Portability (MNP).

Customers can participate by submitting a question or comment using #letstalk, or by watching the live broadcast, he said.

“Today, for most people, the communication landscape has become increasingly complex,” said Sultan.

“That is precisely why we have launched the new communication platform, which sparks an interactive, engaging conversation between everyone in the UAE and the members of our senior management and experts. The initiative will feature a series of integrated live sessions and aim to address and tackle issues that people may want to raise.”

The session will be broadcast simultaneously on different media channels including du’s YouTube channel, mobile phones through My World and on du TV.

It will also be recorded and available on du’s YouTube channel and du TV after broadcast, for viewing convenience. - TradeArabia News Service
