Dubai eGovernment plans new surveys

Dubai eGovernment department has launched a series of opinion polls for both public and for government employees to measure customer satisfaction in bid to enhance government performance based on its ‘customer first’ concept.
 
Dubai eGovernment uses the analysis, feedback and suggestions from such surveys for the continuous enhancement of government performance; and to create an open channel between the government, its employees and the general public, saisd a senior official.
 
“Conducting regular surveys is a fundamental aspect of our quality and administrative excellence in line with the requirements of the Dubai Government Excellence Programme. Such measures will help us to streamline communication and cooperation with our partners," explained Ahmed Bin Humaidan, the director general of Dubai eGovernment.

"We also seek to continuously integrate eServices with government entities and together support eTransformation in the emirate by provide world class services and infrastructure that is customized for our customer’s needs," Bin Humaidan stated.

"Our ultimate goal is to ensure that our slogan ‘Together to ease your life’ is a reality for all citizens, residents, businesses and visitors," he added.

Already 8 out of the planned 20 surveys have already been launched, said Bin Humaidan, adding that the results of these surveys would contribute to improving government performance.

He said as a bonus for taking part in the survey, the randomly chosen participants would be awarded prizes.

These include iPhones, iPads and other valuable prizes that would be awarded during the forthcoming Gitex Week between October 14 and 18 at Dubai eGovernment’s stand in Sheikh Saeed Hall 3, Dubai World Trade Centre.-TradeArabia News Service
