A total of 36 French companies will present their technologies in a national pavilion at Adipec, a major trade fair opening in Abu Dhabi today, marking the biggest ever French presence at the event.

The 15th edition of Adipec will run until November 15 at Abu Dhabi national Exhibition Centre.

The French companies, groups and SMEs have been brought together by Ubifrance, the French agency for international business development, and will exhibit their technologies in a national pavilion covering 400 sq m.

The biannual Adipec is the world’s third largest trade fair in the field of hydrocarbons and is an unmissable event for professionals. The 2010 edition, which brought together 1,500 exhibitors over more than 60,000 sq m, attracted 50,000 visitors.

The exhibiting French companies are all specialised in different domain such as pipeline repairs, explosion-proof equipment for ATEX environments, alarm panels, electrical equipment for explosive environments, aeronautical sensors, protective equipment, engineering, equipment for oil drilling and equipment for electrical networks, among others.

Nymphea:  Nymphea environment has developed unparalleled expertise in the field of operations at sea. His last innovation is the RSV (Remote Survey Vehicle), an innovative craft for reconnaissance in marine environments ideal for use in the oil industry.

The RSV is a remote-controlled floating platform on which a broad variety of air or underwater sensors can be installed. Adipec 2012 will provide an opportunity to find out more about the wide range of capabilities afforded by this pioneering craft.

Vulcanic: As an expert in heating and temperature control solutions for industry, Vulcanic will be presenting its innovative product ranges for the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors at Adipec 2012.

Vulcanic's project engineering division is a world leader in the design and manufacture of electric heating systems and temperature control solutions.

Amethyste: The French software publisher has recently launched a new software solution - orKsoft - which provides a global and collaborative vision of Asset Integrity and Risk Based Management through a dedicated integrated network platform.
