300 oil and gas firms to showcase products at Dubai event

More than 300 exhibitors from over 25 countries are set to showcase their products and services at an international trade exhibition for onshore and offshore oil, gas and petrochemical industries in the region from tomorrow (March 17) in Dubai.
The 18th edition of the Arab Oil and Gas show will run till March 19 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The biennial show will focus on automation equipment and systems, consultancy services, education, training and recruitment, safety systems and devices, energy measurement systems and petroleum testing equipment.
It will feature representatives from various related industries and entities such as oil and gas producers, petrochemicals, refineries, onshore and offshore drilling, and environment and alternative energies.
It will also incorporate a two-day conference on ‘Managing Sustainable Energy,’ organised by the UAE Society of Engineers along with IC&E.
The industry-focused forum will bring together regional leaders and experts in sustainability and project management to discuss prevalent key topics such as current environmental concerns, the growing demand for energy and their impact on governments, society and individuals today.
The conference topics will include ‘Why System Engineering is Important for Oil & Gas,’ ‘Energy Management,’ and ‘Risk Management.’
The training and recruitment platform of the show will be held to focus on training, professional development and employment in the energy sector. - TradeArabia News Service
