An area is seen cordoned off after a second cave-in near the construction site of a new subway line in Guangzhou, Guangdong province on January 29.

According to Xinhua News Agency, the subsidence area, about 10-meter in depth, extended about 100 sq m. The area first caved in on Monday and resulted in buildings collapsing. It was filled up to ground level but sunk in again on Tuesday. No casualties were reported from the incidents. Reuters/China Daily
