Dubai theme park show dates set

Dubai, August 12, 2009

International Expo-Consults (IEC), a leading trade show management firm, has said that the 2010 Dubai Entertainment, Amusement and Leisure (DEAL) expo will take place in April at the new Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) extension.

The 16th edition of DEAL will offer a host of new attractions at the exhibitions facility from April 25 to 27, 2010.

The new world-class Sheikh Saeed Halls at DWTC will consist of four inter-connected halls including one multi-purpose hall - 'The Trade Centre Arena'. The Arena boasts 14-metre high ceilings and over 9,000 sq m of covered exhibition space.

Total covered space at the venue extension is 25,000 square metres.

The new facility, with its extra high ceilings, will provide the ideal location for showcasing some of the larger theme park exhibits that DEAL has become famous for.

A new product demonstration area will ensure that exhibitors and visitors get more from their DEAL 2010 attendance as large-scale product demonstrations are given their own space.

This will provide these demonstrations with a powerful platform from which to showcase their unique selling points. It will also ensure that the rest of the show floor provides an environment conducive to business.

“We are very excited that DEAL will be one of the first exhibitions to utilise the new facilities at DWTC,” said Abdul Rehman Falaknaz, president of IEC.

“The new halls and arena will provide the perfect platform for us to showcase the very latest in innovative theme park rides and attractions,” he added.

“In addition, the new Sheikh Saeed Halls will offer a direct link to the DWTC Metro station, which will be a big boost for exhibitors and visitors travelling to the show.”

The new large-scale venue will enable DEAL to continue to grow, with the 2010 show expected to attract more than 200 companies from 30 countries.

DEAL 2010 will also feature the second annual DEAL seminar programme, which will cover a two-day workshop offering regional and international business insight.– TradeArabia News Service
