Sabre in key services deal with travel firm

Manama, February 3, 2012

Bahrain-headquartered Sabre Travel Network Middle East has signed an agreement with Albader Travel and Tourism.

According to the deal, Albader's travel agents will exclusively use Sabre's awardwinning Sabre Red platform to offer travel management services to their customers.

Sabre Red is a complete travel solution agents use to run their businesses. At the heart of this is the Sabre Red Workspace, which is used to shop, book and manage travel for customers.

It helps agents provide great value and services to travellers, while making more revenue and controlling costs through greater efficiency.

'We welcome Albader into the Sabre family once more and are pleased to renew our long-term relationship with this highly respected agency,' Sabre Travel Network Middle East chief executive Daniel Naoumovitch said.

'Bahrain is a significant market for us and we will continue to invest hundreds of millions of dollars in new technology to help our agencies become more successful and strengthen their customers' loyalty,' he added.

'Sabre understands the challenges faced by agencies on the ground and designs its products to help us do our job effectively and efficiently,' Albader Travels president Khalid Aldoseri said.

'Greatly benefiting from Sabre's products, we have continued our progress towards becoming a highly successful supplier of corporate travel.

'With Bahrain set to become the cultural capital in the GCC region, our services to tourists become equally important and Sabre can help us meet this growing demand,' he said.

'We understand the market and are glad to invest in our future growth, thus reaffirming our position as a leader in this dynamic industry,' he added.-TradeArabia News Service
