Royal Rose hotel appoints new directors

Royal Rose Abu Dhabi, the soon-to-open five-star property owned by the Bin Ham Group and managed by the City Seasons Group of Hotels, has appointed Ammar Zakaria as director of human resources and Michael Kappes as director of business development.

Zakaria brings 20 years of hospitality experience working in various brands including Shangri-la Hotels & Resorts in Dubai and Muscat and Iberotel Hotels & Resorts in UAE. His main task as director of HR is to provide support and direction for the property in all aspects of human resources.

Kappes brings over 35 years of experience, working with national and international hotel brands and covering a range of sectors including sales and marketing, front office management and reservations. In his role, he will lead and direct a team of 16 dedicated sales and revenue professionals to prepare for the successful opening of the property.

Gianni Malerba, general manager, said: “Ammar’s expertise in human resources will further strengthen our team member satisfaction while Michael’s vast hospitality experience will serve our property well. We welcome them to the executive team as we continue to prepare for the much-awaited opening of Royal Rose.”

The Royal Rose Hotel, built in a style resembling the French 17th century Palais, features 355 luxuriously appointed rooms, including 112 boutique suites, 20 luxury suites and a royal suite. - TradeArabia News Service
