Flynas flies record 3.3m passengers in 2013

Riyadh, January 8, 2014

Saudi Arabia’s national carrier flynas said its passenger numbers hit 3.3 million last year, being the most successful year-to-date.

Other highlights of the year were the airline’s rebranding to give it a new identity, the launch of the in-demand flynas business class and achieving high rates of customer satisfaction and on-time performance, said a statement.

Group CEO of NAS Holding Sulaiman Al Hamdan said: “We have carried 3.3 million passengers and achieved 91 per cent customer satisfaction, which reflects our success in developing our services for the customers.

“And on the operational side by December 2013, the on-time performance has reached 90 per cent, an exceptionally high result due to the excellent teamwork in flynas with the professional support from the General Authority of Civil Aviation represented by the domestic airports who worked with flynas as a one team to ensure all flights departure on time and to minimise the delay times.” - TradeArabia News Service
