CBD launches ‘Attijari Mobile Banking’

Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) has announced the launch of Attijari Mobile Banking, a convenient, flexible and secure service that will allow its customers to do banking transactions through any kind of web-enabled mobile device.

This is as part of the CBD’s drive to continuously enhance privileges for its valued clients and in line with its endeavor to keep pace with the latest technological developments, a statement from the bank said.

Faisal Galadari, general manager, business group of CBD, said: “By ensuring quick and easy access to money and account information away from home or office, we expect CBD’s new initiative to meet the needs of our busy customers, especially in the UAE, which has one of the highest smartphone penetration figures in the region.

“CBD is committed to providing client-focused solutions through the mobile channel that are secure, efficient, and easy to use,” Frans Jan Burkens, head of consumer banking at CBD, said. “The new offering allows our customers to make bill payments from their iPhones, BlackBerry and Android-based smartphones, apart from being able to log on from any other smartphone with access to the internet via mobile web browsers.”

Through Attijari, customers can track their bank accounts and credit card transactions, transfer funds to accounts within CBD, remit money, pay their bills, and locate the nearest branches and ATMs. – TradeArabia News Service
