Waha Capital, a leading investment company based in Abu Dhabi, has acquired 2.04 million shares in New York-listed AerCap Holdings for a total of $76.8 million, as part of an open market share purchase programme.  

Following this acquisition, Waha Capital’s stake in AerCap Holdings has increased from 13.6 percent to 14.6 percent, the company said.       
 
Waha Capital, which has been a major shareholder in AerCap Holdings since 2010, may purchase up to an additional 1.96 million shares in AerCap Holdings under the programme, subject to certain price and other conditions, it said.  - TradeArabia News Service
