UAE home maintenance market set for big growth

Dubai, February 9, 2011

The demand for home maintenance services in the UAE is poised to grow significantly, driven by the steadily-recovering real estate landscape and renewed enthusiasm of financing firms, said an expert.

'Fresh supply of residential properties entering Abu Dhabi's perennially undersupplied market and the growing awareness about the strategic advantages of specialised facilities management solutions will also add to the demand,' noted Jamal Abdulla Lootah, chief executive officer of Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated FM solutions in the UAE.

Abu Dhabi, said Lootah, is shaping up to be a major growth catalyst for the FM sector, especially in the residential segment in light of the long-awaited influx of residential properties in the capital’s perennially undersupplied property market.

'The cost-effective annual maintenance charges as well as personalized and integrated home maintenance services are key incentives that have convinced an increasing number of property owners to adopt facilities management solutions, given that customers are now more value-oriented and price-conscious,' he added.

Building on the company's success in Dubai, Imdaad said it has recently beefed up the service offerings of its HomePro Maintenance Services to capitalise on the expected growth in demand for comprehensive home maintenance services in Abu Dhabi.

'HomePro has the most integrated FM contracts for apartments and villas, which underlines the specialized expertise and the unique ability of the company to deliver personalized and cost-efficient home maintenance services to homeowners in the UAE,' stated Lootah.

According to him, Imdaad's strategy has always been to constantly expand the scope of our services and cater to emerging requirements and demands in the facilities management market.

'We have therefore developed a wider range of value-added services and privileges to strengthen our position as a value-oriented solutions provider, and to take advantage of emerging growth opportunities in key markets such as Abu Dhabi,' he added.-TradeArabia News Service
